The image gives the impression it's a thick foam like shaving foam, but it's not that thick and is quite runny. I have used different foaming sanitisers in the past and they have been nice and thick, I just thought I would give this one a try.
It doesn't dry too well on the hands, you need paper towel to do that, which defeats the object really. It does leave your hands feeling sticky. It barely has a smell, which surprises me.
All in all, I probably won't buy it again.

Once put into a foam dispenser (amazon £9) this product really makes lot's of foam and 500ml top up last so long between refills. Looks like thick shaving foam but rubs in so quickly to leave no sticky fingers. This product seems a lot more friendly on my hands against a alcohol gel that stings & driers your hands.

Smell = Gentle and not over powering
Effectiveness = If it does what it says then it is really outstanding
I'm no chemical engineer so I cannot vouch for its effectiveness so if it does what it claims then you cannot ask for more. I ordered this when there was chaos in the early stages of the Corona virus. I fortunately had the foam dispenser so I think that helped as very few domestic sanitisers use that method.
Soft and gentle on mine and my families hand and a little goes a long way.
Overall I am extremely satisfied and will turn to the same product when I need to refill.
